There are nearly twenty casino/hotels right on the strip, so picking where to stay is often times, very difficult. More importantly, the price of hotel rooms fluctuates consistently based on when traveling and whether it is during the week or a weekend. However, the one fantastic thing about Las Vegas is that the hotel accommodations are spectacular. Those that own these casinos have developed a glamorous place to do business and to enjoy life at its best.

However, in Las Vegas, there are some hotels that reign supreme above the rest. Deciding between these can be one of the most difficult decisions when going to Las Vegas on vacation. These top casinos are:

  • Wynn Las Vegas: One of the most glamorous hotels on the Strip, the Wynn is the flagship of Wynn Resorts Limited. Opened in 2005, it has gone on to become one of the greatest hotels in the world. Their main attraction is Le Reve, an acrobatic act in water. With its sister hotel, Encore, they have ranked five stars for hotel, restaurant and spa by Forbes two years in a row.
  • Bellagio: Also built by Steve Wynn, the Bellagio is known for the dancing fountains out front of the casino. It is one of the more glamorous hotels on the Strip and in 2005, had a complete makeover to make it even more glamorous. It has a massive casino floor where there are tons of games going on at once and has the “poker room” where there are even higher stakes poker games than normal for casinos.
  • Treasure Island: Known for its elaborate pirate show that goes on every night, Treasure Island is an elaborately designed hotel that was meant to just be another tower for the Mirage. However, it turned into a great casino. With its sale to Phil Ruffin in 2009, it is the only casino that has a Cirque d Soleil act that isn’t owned by MGM-Mirage.
  • The Mirage: Opened in 1989, this casino was rumored to need to make a million dollars a day to pay off its seven year construction loan. The casino did so well, it paid it off in a year and a half. It is known for its elaborate volcano that erupts each night. More importantly, it has a Cirque du Soleil show called Love that people can see.

Each hotel offers its own accommodations. Some offer discounted show tickets; others offer money to be spent in shops. In the end, though, the above four casino hotels are some of the best designed hotels and casinos that have ever hit the strip. And, more importantly, they are some of the most glamorous.
